Aida

Aida is been interested in the menstrual cycle for years, her interest comes from her decision to respect the changes caused by the cycle in her body and soul.

She was trained as a Doula (who provides guidance and support during pregnancy and childbirth) in Guatemala and, after two years she returns to Latin America for a month (twenty-eight days) because she misses being there. There are many things she admires about Latin America, but the one it fascinates her the most is their spirituality.

Marta

Marta admires Aida as much as she knows her defects. And they go on a twenty-eight-days-trip together, in which Marta will record Aida at all the time, observing the different phases of Aida’s menstrual cycle.

Marta opens herself completely to Aida, because what she has to say about the menstrual cycle triggers her curiosity. Beside her, Marta become aware of her own menstrual cycle and she begin to respect her own shifting feelings.
